New student list view: an update

At Talis Insight Europe 2017, we revealed a new student list view for Talis Aspire reading lists. Since then, we have been working on a beta programme with a handful of customers, to get it ready for roll-out.

During one of our routine Services calls with Harper Adams University, Matt Bryan, librarian was explaining about the progress made with academic engagement following a session he ran, inspired by Allie Taylor’s Insight Europe 2017 presentation and the implementation of Talis Aspire’s Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) integration.

In November, we hosted two events to discuss the topic of academic engagement for recently joined customers and for institutions who are not yet using Talis. These events were kindly co-hosted by Northumbria University and UCL (University College London). We wanted to find out more about how our universities have successfully tackled the challenge of academic adoption and provide some more information on how Talis supports this.

You’ve selected Talis Aspire, you’ve signed the paperwork… now what? In this blog post, we explain what the implementation process looks like at Talis, and why we believe the support of the Services and Consulting Teams is vital. You’ll also hear stories from recently joined customers on the highlights of their implementations.
