<description>Nice summary, Rob! The participation really does make code4lib exceptional. I was a little worried about the conference content a few months ago for some reason, but the quality of the keynotes, prepared sessions, and lightning talks this year blew me away. Your session was a great start to the conference and a good follow up to Brewster!

Just a few minor quibbles involving me:

I'm with Laurentian University, not Equinox, and as any of the victims at the Evergreen pre-conference can tell you I was droning on for most of the time. Bill Erickson from Equinox, and Sally Murphy ("Murph") from GPLS PINES rounded out the pre-conference presenters.
I really did very little to fill in for Jeremy, apart from timing for a good chunk of the first day. I scurried off to finalize the CouchDB presentation. Karen Coombs served as official timekeeper for most of the conference - big kudos to her!

&lt;strong&gt;Rob says:&lt;/strong&gt; Sorry Dan! I know, of course, that you don't work for Equinox, please put the mistake down to my second-hand, jetlagged, listening to other people talking about your seesion. :-)
