The rumour mill churns for Sirsi/Dynix….
After the recent questions around what Ex Libris are doing with regard to the future support of Voyager Customers, the ILS/LMS rumour mill is churning again.
This time the buzz is around Sirsi/Dynix and their Horizon Library system.
I have picked up via the grapevine two separate conversations. Firstly that there is going to be a big announcement connected with Horizon within the next day or so. And the second is that Sirsi/Dynix are canning Horizon.
Both rumours as I say. True or not, interesting symptoms of the worries and commercial realities in the ILS/LMS market and the vendors that are part of it.
I await the news with bated breath…
