Access Conference, morning of day one
Posted by Paul Miller at October 12, 2006 06:27 PM
My head hurts... :-( Travelled fine, slept fine, etc, etc; but still knocked out by a splitting headache. The fancy Canadian head-fixing medicine is only just kicking in, two hours after I took the first lot.
You all wanted to know that, right? Still, it has affected my ability to focus, and to report back on this morning's happenings here in soggy Ottawa.
For those who aren't here, I'll recommend the Planet again. Also, the back-channel chatter on code4lib is worth keeping an eye on for the odd gem.
Interesting things; much interest in Evergreen, despite it only getting a five minute outing in a lightning talk from DJ Fiander. Also, the Endeca install at NCSU.
Now my friend Susan Haigh from Library & Archive Canada is on, so I'm going to focus my functioning braincell. More later...
