The mantra of entrenched industries, says O'Reilly...

It's not often that I post something to both Nodalities and Panlibus, but this short post from Tim O'Reilly resonated (in different ways) with things I've been thinking about recently in each space.

As he writes, himself quoting O'Reilly Media's CIO,

“The world is full of people whose notion of a satisfactory future is, in fact, a return to the idealised past.”

So true, on so many levels. And so bad...
